Integrated Communication
Consultants was founded in Greer, South Carolina, in 1998.
Owned and operated by
Catherine Romaine, a veteran communicator with more than 25 years of
experience, ICC provides full-service marketing communication solutions for an
international client base in the
packaging,
government, manufacturing, telecommunications, medical, aerospace,
transportation and technology sectors.
Romaine began her career
as a section editor for a daily newspaper. In
1988 she became the internal communication specialist for a textile
manufacturer, and was instrumental in the development of an
international marketing communications program. In 1992 she joined
Sonoco, and when she left in 1998 to start her own company, she was the
manager of internal communication and communication technologies. In
this position, she helped launch the company’s Inter/Intranet sites, and
managed its television programming. Her experience in the
marketing and electronic communication arena has earned
numerous awards and accolades. She has
also earned recognition for writing, video and interactive media.
A graduate of East Tennessee
State University, in Johnson City, Tennessee,
Romaine has a master’s degree in English and two bachelor’s degrees. She
is a former teacher for the Miami Dade public school system, and is a
charter member of the International Association of Business
Communicators--South Carolina chapter. She has held numerous offices over the last
11 years, and served as the chapter’s

until the 2006 fiscal year.
